Quality and batch documentation

Purity verification by HPLC

Each batch is verified by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). A purity value of ≥99% is the minimum threshold for accepting a batch for distribution. HPLC results are included in the Certificate of Analysis (COA) attached to the batch documentation.

Certificate of Analysis (COA)

The COA is a laboratory document confirming the chemical identity of the material, its purity and the results of the analytical tests carried out for a given batch. Each LOT has a dedicated COA available to the buyer after purchase.

Batch identification — LOT/MFG/EXP system

Each batch is marked with a unique LOT number, manufacturing date (MFG) and expiry date (EXP). This data is on the vial label and in the batch documentation. The LOT number makes it possible to identify the exact batch of material in the event of a follow-up enquiry or non-conformity.

Storage and shipping

The recommended storage of peptides is 2–8°C, away from light and moisture. The lyophilizate (powder) withstands short-term transport at ambient temperature and does not require a cold chain — therefore we ship as standard, at ambient temperature. After reconstitution, the material is used in accordance with the specification on the label.

Option of external verification

Institutional clients may commission independent batch validation by an accredited external laboratory. A control sample can be made available on request to verify the parameters indicated in the COA.
